Finding bargains on the Internet

Even in good times everyone loves a bargain. And with the present economic disruption, bargains are especially welcome. There are a number of Web sites that can help you find the best deals and discounts. With the holiday shopping season beginning, I thought I would mention a few sites that may save you some money.

One way to save money is to take advantage of the frequent coupons or promotion codes. There are various sites that collect information on currently available coupons and one of these is Deal Locker. Another is RetailMeNot. A search in Google or other search engine can turn up others.

Other sites list the current low-price offerings from various vendors. One examples is Tech Bargains and another is dealnews. And there are many price comparison sites.

The day after the Thanksgiving holiday in the US is a special shopping day known as “Black Friday” and PC World has an article on how to take advantage of the many bargains offered.
